چکیده

Metal welding processes, and electric arc in particular, constitute a key link production chain comprising large number of companies. This fact, addition to growing trend favour more in-depth environmental analysis control industry, the need continue affording due consideration economic aspect set stage for this study. Herein, an is conducted four types welding: TIG with without filler, MIG, MAG, SMAW welding. Different materials are examined such as carbon steel, stainless aluminium, thus results generate relevant comparative information on impacts choosing one type over another. To end, experimental study was carried out: 480 test specimens were welded using different technologies. A series data collected during process inform based Life Cycle Analysis The most salient include that filler generated greatest impact its higher consumption shielding gas. On other hand, demonstrated best performance categories Global Warming Potential; CO2 emissions dropped by 93.29%. factor final indicator human health, where, once again, technology had worst results, contrast technology, wherein decreased 93.08%. use implies cost 61.36% increase time compared average technology.

Optimization of TIG-MIG hybrid welding of 316L austenitic stainless steel

In the TIG-MIG hybrid welding, higher weld efficiency and better weld quality are obtained with respect to each individual TIG and MIG welding methods. Moreover, in this method, the MIG arc is more stable in pure argon shielding gas. Therefore, in this study, the influence of TIG-MIG hybrid welding parameters on the welds appearance quality and welds depth to width ratio of a 316L austenitic st...
